This substantial statement ring combines red copper and silver in a layered, industrial design. A textured circular centrepiece is framed by contrasting metal elements, raised details and riveted construction, giving the ring the appearance of a miniature piece of ancient armour. Terry has deliberately avoided conventional jewellery construction: the components are shaped, fitted and mechanically joined, creating a rugged piece that celebrates the craft of working directly with metal. Handcrafted by retired Master Goldsmith Terry Behrens in his Gqeberha workshop.
